The Killing Floor Blues Band is a hard edged blues and blues-rock band playing tunes from the great era of electric blues and rock from the 60’s and the 70’s. Inspired by artists such as SRV, Hendrix, Cream, Freddie King, Albert King, Santana, Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era), the sound is loose, improvisational and free spirited.
Born out of a mutual passion for great blues and rock, the Killing Floor came together in 2010. This three piece outfit plays music coming from the golden era of Texas and Chicago blues and rock from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and includes also Aussie material from Chain to AC/DC.
This three piece band includes:
Franco – Lead Vocals and drums
Franco has years of experience as both a drummer and singer and has performed all over Australia and won awards in talent competitions for his singing.
Fab – Guitar
Playing guitar for 35 years, Fab is knowledgeable in many styles for music. His passion for playing and performing has come to fruition in this band and he is able to apply his skills in the many facets of blues and rock covered in the band.
Paul – Bass
Having played in various band of the last 20 years, Paul has a solid approach to his playing and forms a solid foundation for Franco’s vocals and Fab’s Guitar.
