Silas lulic was born in Bell Post Hill Geelong, Victoria October 16th, 1978 and moved to Melbourne in 1981. When he was only a infant his mother would keep him entertained by playing her old 45’s of mostly Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Chuck Berry. Not too long after he could walk he was very keen in imitating these Rock’N’Roll Icons of the past. Influenced by many styles of music the charisma and energy of Elvis Presley has turned into a journey that
Silas has carried with him from such a young age and continues to follow him even today. During his High School years Silas gained popularity during his performances in musicals, shopping centre competitions, along with winning a school talent quest for his Tribute to Elvis. Once he entered the workforce in the Automotive industry, Silas had a love for old classic cars and gained some fulfilment, but realised something was missing. What was currently his recreational activity, Silas had an unusual, but extraordinary talent in paying Tribute to the King. His voice sounds uncannily like the voice of Elvis and he has an array of Elvis costumes from the gold lame of the 50’s through to the black leather of the 60’s and the ever so popular 70’s jumpsuits.
Silas is very particular in his performances that his costumes, guitars and jewellery are exact replica’s as used by Elvis himself. His versatility in his knowledge and love of Elvis’s music allows him to sing all styles from Rock, Country, Gospel and Blues. To date Silas is the 2007 and 2008 NSW Elvis Parkes Festival Winner and since has much interest from Overseas including Europe and Hawaii.
